Wake Up People!

Time is flying by and we're all so soaked on our own little world , we barely take time to take a look around us. Yes, its that time of year when all eyes are glued on our television sets , cheering our nations teammates on...A few gold medals here and a few bronze medals there. Yaay!! ...Uhh not really. Even though the Olympics are a HUUGE deal all around the world  , there ARE people who don't even have tv's! let alone food! WAKE UP PEOPLE and smell the not-so-great-stuff. People are dying , crying , fighting for their lives ...and all we're doing is sitting on the couch in a nice air-conditioned house complaining about the unpopped kernels in the popcorn bucket. What has this world turned into! And I'm sadly part of the buttery fingered Olympic-cheering-couch-potato.
